Back in the summer of '69....(well, 2002, anyway)....I spent about a month in a small town in Western Kansas. Kansas has a reputation as being a very flat, dull state with nothing worth seeing. And...well, it is very flat, and it might well be dull if you spend large amounts of time there, but I really enjoyed my stay! I'll revisit Kansas sometime in the future - you'll see.
