I went to Montreal in August 2002, in order to present my work to the IFIP World Computer Congress. Montreal is a lovely city - it's certainly the best place I've been to so far, and I can't wait to go back someday. There was a lot to do, a lot to eat, and the weather was really nice - sunny, cloudless and in the 90's. I didn't get sunburnt, either!
