Introduction to my work

I'm currently working as a Research Fellow on the MoSeS project; my particular job will be to help develop an infrastructure to enable the Department of Geograhphy at the University of Leeds to perform e-social science experimentation.

Prior to that, I was a member of the the e-Demand project; this was a UK e-Science project associated with both the National e-Science Centre in Edinburgh, and the North East Regional e-Science Centre in Newcastle. Although originally a University of Durham project, a number of project members (including myself) moved to the University of Leeds half-way through.

Apart from the above projects, my background includes work in the areas of fault tolerance (assessing the dependability of multi-version systems compared to single-version systems when both have had the same development cost) and testing (using fault injection to assess dependability of fault tolerant systems).

Publications from all of the above can (or at least, should!) be found in my "papers" section!
